Ishtak Shahdooli Walks in the Footsteps of Gandhi, Carrying a Message of Peace, Harmony and Constitutional Values इश्ताक शहडोली गांधी के पदचिह्नों पर: शांति, सद्भाव और संवैधानिक मूल्यों का संदेश लेकर

The ‘Jahan Pade Kadam Gandhi Ke, Ek Kadam Gandhi Ke Saath’ foot march, which began on 2 October on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary, is moving towards Santiniketan with a message of peace, love, non-violence and social harmony. Among the participants from different parts of the country is Ishtak Shahdooli.

The march began at Gandhi Bhavan in Belgachia, Kolkata, and is scheduled to reach Santiniketan on 16 October. Along the way, participants are engaging with communities around Gandhi’s ideas and values of non-violence, equality, social harmony, democracy and constitutional values.

Ishtak Shahdooli’s participation also brings a young and contemporary perspective to the journey. social concerns and human values adds another dimension to the conversations taking place along the route.

The journey is more than a physical walk from one place to another. It is an effort to strengthen values such as peace, love, non-violence, equality, justice and fraternity in society. By connecting Gandhi’s philosophy with the principles of human dignity, equality and fraternity embodied in the Constitution, the march seeks to create spaces for dialogue and reflection.

As the march moves towards Santiniketan, it reminds us that Gandhi’s ideas are not merely a part of history. Truth, non-violence, dialogue, coexistence and human dignity remain relevant values for society today.

Ishtak Shahdooli’s participation represents an effort to connect the values associated with Gandhi and the Constitution with meaningful dialogue at the grassroots level.

महात्मा गांधी की जयंती के अवसर पर 2 अक्टूबर से शुरू हुई ‘जहाँ पड़े कदम गांधी के, एक कदम गांधी के साथ’ पदयात्रा शांति, प्रेम, अहिंसा और सामाजिक सद्भाव का संदेश लेकर शांतिनिकेतन की ओर बढ़ रही है। इस यात्रा में विभिन्न राज्यों से आए साथियों के साथ इश्ताक शहडोली भी सहभागी हैं।

बेलघाटा स्थित गांधी भवन से शुरू हुई यह पदयात्रा 16 अक्टूबर को शांतिनिकेतन पहुंचेगी। यात्रा के दौरान गांधी के विचारों, आपसी सद्भाव, अहिंसा, समानता और लोकतांत्रिक एवं संवैधानिक मूल्यों को लेकर लोगों से संवाद किया जा रहा है।

इश्ताक शहडोली की भागीदारी इस यात्रा को युवा पीढ़ी के दृष्टिकोण से भी महत्वपूर्ण बनाती है। सामाजिक सरोकारों और मानवीय मूल्यों से जुड़े उनके अनुभव इस यात्रा के संवाद को और व्यापक बनाते हैं।

यह पदयात्रा केवल एक स्थान से दूसरे स्थान तक की यात्रा नहीं है, बल्कि शांति, प्रेम, अहिंसा, समानता, न्याय और बंधुता जैसे मूल्यों को समाज में मजबूत करने का प्रयास है। गांधी के विचारों के साथ-साथ संविधान में निहित मानवीय गरिमा और समानता की भावना को जनसंवाद के माध्यम से आगे ले जाना इस पहल का महत्वपूर्ण पक्ष है।
